YS Jagan at Davos: Mittal to invest 5,600 cr in AP

AP CM YS Jagan is at Davos attending World Economic Forum. He met Aditya Mittal, Chairman of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India. Aditya signed MoU with AP to expand Vishakapatnam Pellet plant operations with an Rs. 1000 crores investment.

Mittal also announced that he has partnered with Greenko for establishing World’s largest integrated Renewable Energy storage facility in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. They are going to invest Rs. 4,600 crores in the facility.

Well, this makes for a highly significant investment from the company in Andhra Pradesh state amounting to Rs. 5,600 crores. As Jagan is constantly meeting some more world class entrepreneurs at the forum in Davos, we can expect more investments coming in to the state soon, say experts.
