VP Venkaiah Naidu to be Fourth Telugu President?

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, V.V. Giri, Neelam Sanjeva Reddy have served as Presidents of India, from Telugu ethnicity, till date. Radhakrishnan has become famous for his eloquence in oration, writing. V.V. Giri and Neelam Sanjeva Reddy gained the post out of political equations.

Now, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu who has been integral part of Bharatiya Janatha Party from Atal Bihari Vajpayee time, could get to be President of India. J.P Nadda – BJP President, Home Minister Amit Shah have met Venkaiah Naidu at his residence and had a long discussion with him.

They went on to meet the integral leaders of BJP and most probably they might announce Venkaiah Naidu as their presidential candidate. Yashwant Sinha is very interested in the Presidential race and he even resigned to TMC party.

BJP does have majority and even if they have doubt, Maharastra rebellion will give them great chance to push Opposition on back seat. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, TRS Chief KCR and Congress party are desperate to find a right candidate for Presidential elections from Opposition. Mostly, whom BJP decides could become next President of India post Ram Nath Kovind’s tenure completes.
