Few rumors turn out to be unbelievable while few have the potential to become true. Recent reports from Mumbai media suggest that Victory Venkatesh has been cast in an important role in Salman Khan’s film, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Pooja Hegde is acting as leading lady in the film.
Earlier, Akkineni Nagarjuna acted in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra and the actor attended few promotional interviews too. When full blown promotions begin for the movie, we have to wait and see, if he will join the team.
Now, these rumors about Venkatesh being asked to star in a Salman Khan movie indicate that Bollywood producers are looking to involve South Indian stars in their movies in some way or the other, as they have become highly familiar and popular among North Indian movie lovers with their dubbed movies on TV.
Nagarjuna’s Meri Jung, Mass dubbed version and Don No.1, Don dubbed version are the most telecasted on Hindi movies channels. Venkatesh’s Tulasi, Nagavalli have been dubbed and telecasted repeatedly. The senior actor is currently wrapping up his works for F3 and Rana Naidu, web series with Rana Daggubati. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali shoot is expected to start next month and it could happen in RFC, Hyderabad, in which schedule Venkatesh could join the cast.
