That’s why Virat Kohli didn’t put his name in IPL Mega auction 2022

After Royal Challengers Bengaluru didn’t win the IPL 2021 trophy, Virat Kohli stepped down as Captain. After stepping down as RCB Captain, he quit as team India Skipper from all formats.

Virat who successfully led team India in all formats has quit the captaincy to back inform. After stepping down as RCB skipper, many franchises requested Kohli to put his name in the IPL Mega auction 2022. But he didn’t.

RCB retained Kohli for 15cr. Kohli will get a King price if he is in the auction. Former RCB skipper revealed why he didn’t go for the auction in the podcast.

As quoted by CricCrazy Johns, Virat Kohli said in RCB podcast, “I have been approached to put my name in the auction but the loyalty to RCB, the amount of opportunity and backing this franchise given to me in the first 3 years, they believed me, that is so special for me”.
