Telangana: Harish Rao announces revolutionary plans

Telangana State Health Minister Harish Rao announced some revolutionary plans to be introduced by the State government in coming months to help the poor and needy. He asked the poor people and even those who can afford to get treatment at government hospitals rather than wasting money at private multi specialty hospitals.

He announced that Government is bringing 4 new multispecialty hospitals in Hyderabad and soon they will inaugurate few more in district headquarters. He further stated that Government is planning to improve facilities in every Government hospital and looking to convert them into multispecialty hospitals even in rural areas.

Harish Rao stated that three level health system plan is going to be executed in the state in coming years. He remarked that government successfully completed establishing 350 Basti Dawakhanas in Hyderabad and more will be established in rural areas to help the poor. He further said that new radiology labs, T Diagnostic Centers will be established to bring down the rates for costly tests like Monography, 2D Echo, X-Ray and other 57 tests.

The minister announced that the Government is bringing an app to help people search near by Basti Dawakhana and Radiology labs, T Diagnostic centers established by the state. Patients can directly download their test results from the app too. He also opined that the app will help them review the medical doctors, officials working style as well.
