South Africa scrapes through a tight game against England

South Africa have been able to scrape through holding their nerve in a close thriller against England. They have been able to survive in close encounters on contrary to their chokers label, in this T20 World Cup 2024. In the Super Eights, they have been able to register their second win but the NRR can still pose a problem for them.

Going into the details, England won the toss and elected to field first. Opener Quinton de Kock once again fired with 65 runs from 38 balls for South Africa. On the other hand, Reeza Hendricks(19) and Heinrich Klaasen(8) struggled to score. David Miller has been sent higher up at No.4 and he took the game into his hands. He scored 43 runs from 28 balls while no others could give good finish.

Yet their NRR did not get affected too much and if they beat USA with a goad margin, they still have Semi-Final chances.
