India has found themselves wanting against Australia in WTC 2023 and CWC 2023 Finals. Hence, fans wanted them to take revenge of Australia in T20 World Cup 2024 and they did exactly, the same. Indian batters have set up the match beautifully with Rohit Sharma scoring 92 runs from just 41 balls. They scored 205/5 in 20 overs.

Australia needed to chase down 206 runs in their 20 overs to enter Semi Finals. India needed early wickets to not let Aussies have any chance. Arshdeep Singh dismissed David Warner(6) in the first over itself. Mitchell Marsh gave several chances trying to force the innings but Rishabh Pant failed to capitalize on it.

Marsh settled and tried to capitalize. He scored 37 runs from 28 balls while Travis Head kept scoring at other end. Axar Patel took a stunning catch at the boundary in Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling to turn match towards India. Glenn Maxwell(20) tried to support Head and Australia set themselves up for chasing down the big score.

After Maxwell got out, India pulled things back with Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav overs. Tim David(15) tried to assist Head but Bumrah got him with a clever slow delivery. Head fell after scoring 76 runs from 43 balls. Finally, Indian bowlers restricted Australia to 181/7 in 20 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav(2/24), Arshdeep Singh(3/37), Jasprit Bumrah(1/29) and Axar Patel(1/21) restricted Australia with timely blows. Hence, India won the match by 24 runs. Well, with such a convincing win, Indian team entered into Semi-Finals and they will play against England on 27th June, at Guyana.
