Going into the details, England, in their must win game, won the toss and elected to field first. USA batters found it difficult to score off Jofra Archer bustling in. Nitish Kumar(30), Corey Anderson(29), Harmeet Singh(21) could get some runs. But Jordan got 4 wickets in one over with a hat-trick to dismiss USA for 115 in 18.5 overs.
Adil Rashid restricted the opponents with 2/13 from his 4 overs. With a sensational over, Jordan finished with 4/10 figures in 2.5 overs. In the chase, England openers did not let USA bowlers get any sneak. Jos Buttler, in particular kept going after the bowlers from the first ball.
