Australia crushed hopes of Scotland to sail into Super 8 of T20 World Cup 2024 despite Scots best possible efforts. Aggressive Opener Travis Head and middle order scary all-rounder Marcus Stoinis secured a good win in chase under slight pressure. As some big stars failed with the bat in the middle, Aus felt a bit of pressure but sailed through quite easily.
Going into the details, Australia won the toss and elected to field first. Opener George Munsey scored 35 runs from 23 balls giving an aggressive start to Scotland.
