Russia-Ukraine War: EU Sanctions and Russia advances!

European Union has resolved impasse and imposed ban on 90% of Russian oil imports. Hungary has been exempted as the country depends on Russian crude oil more than any country in EU. Further EU banned Russian Serb Bank from SWIFT System. Three more satellite networks have been banned too.

EU described this as a strategic move to cut off the largest funds for Russia to continue waging war on Ukraine. Further discussions about imposing sixth round of sanctions are also going on and Russian officials called it a pathetic move.

Russian troops are narrowing down around Luhansk province in Donbas area. Ukrainian troops are pushing Russian troops to defensive positions in Kherson province. Moscow is eager to announce victory in eastern part of Ukraine but the country forces are fighting hard with Russian troops.

The war has been continuing from three months and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked US to give them long range missiles. Joe Biden, US president denied requests saying that they will not provide any missiles that can enter Russian territories.
