Rohit Sharma to achieve a milestone

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has a maximum scope of attaining a milestone in today’s match against KKR. He was just 54 runs away to complete 10,000 runs in T20 format. Already, Virat Kohli achieved that feat. Chris Gayle was the leading run scorer in the T20 format. And he was the first to achieve the 10K milestone in world cricket.

Chris Gayle played 463 matches and scored 14,562 runs followed by Shoaib Malik 11,698(472), Pollard in third position with 11,452 runs, Finch in fourth position with 10,499 runs, and Kohli in fifth position with 10,331 runs.

Rohit is just five fours away to complete 500 fours in IPL history. As stated by CricCrazy Johns,  Rohit Sharma is the only player to score 1000 runs against a single opposition in IPL history – 1015 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders.
