Nadal takes tally to 22 with 14th French Open Title!

The era of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will be written in History books as the best period of Lawn Tennis Sport Ever. Boris Baker, John McEnroe, Jim Laver, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi made Men’s Tennis Game popular with their pure domination but these two decades from 2003 to till date have been absolutely memorable with one champion creating history at some grand slam or the other.

Federer first created history by winning more than 6 Wimbledon Grand Slams and now, Nadal created history by winning 14th French Open. You cannot imagine winning 10 Grand Slams in a career and this man won 14 just at one tournament. Federer won 20, Djokovic won 20 and Nadal 22 Grand Slams and Nadal completed rare Double Career Slam as he won every Grand Slam twice.

Federer never could cross Nadal hurdle at Roland Garros at his peak too, otherwise he might have achieved it, first too. Djokovic who has been the reining champion and current No.1 seems to be sliding down as he lost Australian Open and now French Open as well. Both of them went to Nadal, incidentally.

Nadal won the Final of French Open against Casper Ruud with 6-3, 6-3. 6-0 score line. If Federer decides to play at Wimbledon after injury break and recovery, he might become the oldest at the tournament. Can he stop Djokovic and Nadal juggernaut, we have to wait and see. First, let’s congratulate one of the ALL-TIME GREATS of the Game for his win!
