Kalki 2898 AD team has unveiled release trailer just days before the worldwide release on 21st June. The team always wanted to go with two trailer following Hollywood pattern. One trailer to introduce the world and characters, while the second one reveals some interesting plot points.
In the release trailer, makers revealed more than Bhairava and Bujji equation, fight sequences. They have decided to introduce us to the arc of Ashwatthama, played by Amitabh Bachchan and Bhairava, played by Prabhas, conflict with him. Also, the overarching arc of the characters in the film and universe.
Kamal Haasan as the antagonist, impresses us the most with his mysterious character and terrifying look. Kalki 2898 AD makers have decided to leave no stone unturned to make the movie a classic and a celebration in theatres for audiences. The science-fiction meeting mythology genre has been able to peak the intrigue of audiences with these trailers and promotional material.
Nag Ashwin has been able to create enough buzz with interesting apocalypse premise that too following Mahabharata portions with Ashwatthama character. Deepika Padukone’s struggle as a pregnant woman and Bhairava’s antics with Bujji are set to create waves for sure. Santhosh Narayanan’s score could have been better for this film. Movie is releasing on 27th June, worldwide.
