The star-studded epic science fiction film Kalki 2898 AD featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan performed significantly well in its four-day long first weekend, breaking many box office records.
The movie won the accolades of all sections. Not just movie buffs and fans, but various celebrities across the country gave a shout-out to director Nag Ashwin, Prabhas, the production house Vyjayanthi Movies, and the other team.
Kalki 2898 AD ended its first weekend run on a grand note. The movie saw a huge growth in many territories on the fourth day (Sunday). The collections were nearly double to day three numbers in many territories. Day four is the biggest day for the film in North belt.
With over 140 Cr gross on day four, Kalki 2898 AD grossed 555 Cr+ in its first weekend from worldwide boxoffice, and showing it’s rampage in north belt for the hindi version crosses 115+ crores.
It is an all-time second-highest grosser for four days. The movie surpassed $11 Million in North America, and it’s the highest grosser in the region. As the trends suggest, Kalki 2898 AD is sure to shatter many box office records.
