Sudheer Babu has been trying to deliver a big box office success to emerge as a star. His trails have been not up to the expectations of the audiences. With Harom Hara, he is expecting a KGF style blockbuster. Let’s discuss about the film in detail.

Plot:
Subramanyam(Sudheer Babu) is arrested by local police for possession of a gun. His close associate Palani Swami(Sunil) is interrogated by inspector(Akshara Gowda). He starts speaking about Thammi Reddy and his gang, who have terrorised Kuppam. Subramanyam started out as a supplier of weapons to them and then became God Subramanyam for them. How? Watch Harom Hara for answers.

Analysis:
The story being old school doesn’t matter until the execution makes it fresh and new. Young director Gnanasagar Dwaraka tried to give his story KGF twist and ape a success formula. Making hero a God for the locals while being a criminal himself, has nothing new to offer in any case.

Sudheer Babu after trying out some new and fresh ideas, has caught on to this “KGF” bug. As everyone is trying, he too tried a KGF style antagonist being protagonist kind of a story narrated in non-linear way. But that did not really help him in any way. He looked bulky, handsome and apt for action sequences but story did not have anything for him to deliver as an actor.

While director wanted to showcase a different dimension to regular commercial cinema, he did not really innovate the situations or ideas. Everything looks pale and too simple for the kind of elevations he tried to give the protagonist. Aping a successful formula and recreating scenes from sucessful films, can never substitute for a coherent story. Harom Hara suffers from lack of good screenplay.

Positives::
Sudheer Babu screen presence
Few action sequences
Background score

Negatives:
Lethargic Narrative
Amateurish screenplay
Age old cliches
Too much of KGF hangover

Harom Hara Movie Bottom-line: Just too bland
