Maharashtra crisis: Shivsena to expel Eknath and MLAs!

Eknath Shinde and rebel MLAs have been in Radisson BLU Hotel in Guwahati, Assam from past two days. Shivsena senior leader Sanjay Raut has asked them to return to Maharashtra immediately. He declared that if they keep doing the same and take time to decide, then party workers or Shiv Sainiks will not sit idle. Maharashtra will burn.

Already Thane, Eknath Shinde’s strong constituency has been under 144 section and Maharashtra police are not allowing people to roam in groups in Mumbai as well unless they show proper reason. Uddhav Thackeray, current Chief Minister of Maharashtra, left the official residence already and talking to party workers, corporators said that he would be happy to resign if Shivsena will be given Chief Minister post if they go with BJP.

He commented that Eknath Shinde will be given Deputy Chief Minister post and BJP has treated them badly. Hence, he went with Maha Vikas Aghadi. He explained that he can easily give Deputy post to Eknath had he wished for it and he told him to bring the MLAs who wish to go with BJP. But Eknath has decided to support BJP who is looking to end Shivsena’s influence.

He stated BJP wants to be only single representative of Hindus in India and hence, it would do anything to kill Shivsena and he called Shivsena an ideology that will never die. He again asked Shivsena party workers to choose their next leader, if they don’t trust him. Eknath and rebel MLAs are asked to report to Assembly by Speaker on 26th June in person. Speaker received Shivsena letters to expel Eknath Shinde and 16 more MLAs. Now, another 5 names could be added to the list.

Ekanth Shinde on the other hand has scheduled meeting at 2PM on Saturday and the decision about future will be taken by him after the meeting. Most Probably, he might announce alliance with BJP. Sanjay Raut asked Rebel MLAs to come to Assembly and go for No Confidence Motion to show their true strength and unity. He warned them to not test their and party workers patience.
