KL Rahul misses WI T20Is and IND aims ODI clean sweep

KL Rahul has been confirmed to miss West Indies T20Is due to Covid-19 inflection. He suffered from groin injury and missed England series as well. He has been one of the key batsmen for Indian team in Tests, ODIs and T20Is. With his form in IPL T20, Indian team would miss him in the T20I series against West Indies kind of a team for sure.

KL Rahul will attend fitness camp to prove his fitness post recovery to be in consideration for Asia Cup team and World Cup T20I team as well. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have started net practice sessions for T20Is.

Indian ODI team in the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan is looking to create history by completing clean sweep against West Indies. They kept cool heads while defending the score and chasing as well. Axar Patel’s brilliance as helped them in the second ODI.

Shikhar Dhawan wants the team to play to their complete potential and improve their chances to be selected for upcoming events. Many seniors want to see Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer bat as well as they have given an example of their potential.
