IPL Playoffs: RCB vs RR – Fans trust RCB to win

IPL has come to the business end of the season in it’s 15th edition. Penultimate match before the grand finale, Qualifier 2 is being held on 27th May between RCB and RR. Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is getting ready to host both the matches and fans are expecting blockbuster end to an exciting season.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru has been able to dominate Lucknow Super Giants courtesy one of the greatest IPL innings ever by Rajat Patidar. He scored a century to take his team to 207 score when Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell failed. Dinesh Karthik managed to finish the innings on a high again in that match.

Rajasthan Royals have been consistent in the earlier stage courtesy Jos Buttler, the orange cap holder and Yuzvendra Chahal, the purple cap holder. Sanju Samson, the captain performed well under pressure but team depended on these two more. R Ashwin being a floater with bat and getting wickets while being economical helped the team.

But the pressure of getting eliminated saw best of RCB players on the filed but LSG couldn’t handle it well. Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj delivered their best on that day and mainly, Harshal has again showed that he handles pressure situations better than others.

Jos Buttler lost his touch but found fragments of it against Gujarat Titans. Chahal has been with RCB till last season and he failed against GT too. RCB fans think with seniors in their side, the dream of “Ee Sala Cup Namde”, will be realized this season for sure. Even players believe so. Let’s wait for few hours to know the result.
