IPL Playoffs 2022: Can RCB suffice their title quest?

Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only star-studded team of IPL with huge fan base to have never win a title. CSK won it four times, MI won it 5 times, KKR won it twice, SRH won it twice, RR won it once but RCB, Punjab and Delhi never won it. Delhi and Punjab seem to have their won problems to sort out as qualifying to playoffs has become huge issue to both the teams.

Certain qualifiers CSK and MI have had an abysmal season this year. RCB is the only highly experienced team out of the four teams to reach playoffs this season. They have Virat Kohli who steered Indian team to many famous wins and Faf du Plessis, who won tournament in CSK.

Glenn Maxwell is hungry to perform well and on the other hand, KL Rahul from Lucknow Super Giants would be looking to win against his hometown and once his home team. It is his performances for RCB that propelled him onto the National scene. As LSG captain, he would be looking to win against RCB and like his friend, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya, go one step forward in title quest.

Quinton de Cock has been part of Mumbai set up and he understands the playoff pressure. Krunal Pandya too has experience in playing playoffs. Harshal Patel is the bowler from RCB that LSG would fear the most and bowlers might rally around him as Mohammad Siraj is not in great form.

LSG did not win their encounter with RCB in league stages and they would be looking to correct it on the given day to meet RR in Qualifier 2.
