India wins the Fourth match and equals the series

India won the fourth T20I match against South Africa and equaled the series by 2-2. Now, the 5th match at Bengaluru has become the most important of the series. At Rajkot, normally, the pitch seems to be flat and help batsmen to score heavy. But in this match, the pitch has been slow and helped bowlers.

India lost the toss and again batted first. Ruturaj Gaikwad fell in the second over and then Shreyas Iyer fell in 3rd over. Rishabh Pant and Ishan Kishan tried to put together a partnership but Kishan fell fast. Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya came together to put up a partnership after Pant again failed.

Pandya scored 46 off 31 balls to improve the scoring rate when team lost Pant at 81 runs by the end of 13th over. At 146 runs Pandya fell. Dinesh Karthik scored his first fifty in 16 overs of his T20I career. He got huge reception from the audience who attended the match. Because of him, India reached 169 runs when they were 58/3 by the end of 10 overs.

South Africa started their innings very gingerly as Bhuvaneshwar Kumar kept it tight. Hardik Pandya surprisingly got the second over and gave away 12 runs to Quinton De Cock. Captain Temba Bavuma tried hard to score fast and slipped while running. He hurt his left hand and then went off as he was unable to continue. Then QDK got run out.

At regular instances South Africa kept losing wickets. Avesh Khan removed dangerous Pretorius for a duck. Chahal removed Henrich Klassen and then Harshal Patel removed the most dangerous David Miller. This confirmed the win for India.

Avesh Khan took 4 wickets by not giving any chance to late surge for SA lower order. With this win India came back well after losing 2 matches in the series. In this match, India crushed South Africa by 82 runs. With back to back big wins Indian team seems to have come together and it will be hard for SA to hope to walk over Indians in the last match.
