Fears grow if the Twitter-Telsa deal will go through?

Elon Musk expressed open desire to acquire Twitter and make changes to the social media networking platform. Twitter has been gaining mileage over Facebook and more people are preferring the micro blogging site over the META. Hence, Musk offered whooping 44 Billion USD to acquire the company after buying significant number of shares.

But he expressed concerns over transparency in spam or bot accounts data and kept the deal on hold. Parag Agarwal, CEO of Twitter, defended the data that the company has produced about the spam accounts on Twitter, in an ironically long thread, that could be regarded as spam, if it doesn’t contain detailed explanation.

His long explanation met with a “poop” emoji reaction from Elon Musk at first and then he asked a pertaining question about the advertisers fundamental doubts.

Well, with this exchange experts started to fear if the deal would go through as Elon Musk seems to be adamant on proving the data provided by Twitter to be false while the company continues to defend its data. He did say that he is still interested in acquisition but first he needs answers to his pertaining questions. Looking at their duel, will someone like Amazon or Microsoft or even Apple swoop in to seal the deal? Twitter HQ might be hoping for such a miracle as Musk is clearly on a mission.
