Producer Dil Raju, one of the important members of Telugu Film Industry has been a part of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Telugu Active Producers’ Guild. As he is producing films like Ram Charan- Shankar film and Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu/ Varasudu kind of big budget films, many wanted to see how he would handle the strike situation.
Ram Charan – Shankar film shoot updates haven’t been revealed but Varisu team continued to shoot. Even Dhanush’s upcoming SIR/Vaathi continued to shoot as well. As Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce accepted for the strike, Telugu film producers have stopped shoots for time being till they find feasible solutions to problems.
Pakka Commercial, Thank You, Ramarao On Duty, Warriorr kind of films failure has hurt the business a lot. Audiences not even showing interest for these star films and them failing to even open decent has caused for this strike notice.
Producers want to find amicable and feasible solutions to the issues like over budget, ticket price hikes, theatrical run, OTT release, market feasibility for big budget, medium and small budget films, hereafter.
As Varisu shoot hasn’t been stopped few producers expressed disappointment and Dil Raju answered that he is not shooting Telugu films but he cannot stop Tamil film production.
