Dhanush thanks God and fans for 2 Decades in films

Dhanush started his career as an actor as he did not want to concentrate on his studies in college. He had skills to write, sing, dance and act but his looks did not match the trending stars. Still, the actor did not lose heart and decided to try his heart out.

His brother and director Selva Raghavan, made Thulluvadho Illamai and then Kaadhal Kondein with him as the lead. His performance in Kaadhal Kondein made him hugely popular in Tamil Nadu and then Thiruda Thirudi gave him a blockbuster success as a commercial young hero.

He built his image as a hero with unconventional looks but extraordinary acting talents. Pudupettai, Aadukalam, Mayakam Enna, Vada Chennai, Asuran are testimonials of his acting skills. He even entered into Hindi films and won hearts with Ranjhaana. He completed a Hollywood action film, The Grey Man with Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans as co-stars in Avengers EndGame directors, Russo Brothers direction. He won two National Awards for acting and numerous Tamil State awards and Filmfare South Awards.

His personal life became widely popular after he fell in love with Aishwarya Rajnikanth and married her. Recently, the couple got separated and this became highly talked about news too. Well, he is a lyricist, screenwriter, director, producer, singer and even composer along with being an actor. He is debuting in Telugu with Telugu – Tamil bilingual SIR/ Vaathi in the direction of Venky Atluri.

He completed two decades in his career as a filmmaker and we wish him lot more successful films and many more years of career, to give us more and more memorable films. Actor issued an open letter to thank his fans, family, God and colleagues, Industry people for being a part of his journey, all these years.
