Can Akshay Kumar prove existence of Ram Setu?

Ram Setu is a legend from Mythological epic Ramayana. It is believed that Lord Rama built Bridge on the sea water to take his Ape Army with him to fight Ravana in Lanka. People believe that as modern Ayodhya exists, Sri Lanka is Lanka and Rama built the bridge/ Setu near Dhanush Kodi in Rameswaram.

After praying to Lord Shiva in Rameswaram he got the idea to build the bridge and with the help of apes, he built it. To prove if Ram Setu exists really or not in modern world, many archeologists have tried and Adam’s Bridge near Dhanush Kodi is believed to be Ram Setu.

Akshay Kumar is making a fictional movie taking the theme to prove the existence of the Ram Setu. He is the only actor in Bollywood who is doing movies continuously without thinking about Box Office outcome. His latest release Bacchan Pandey failed to compete with Kashmir Files and RRR. It got squeezed between both of them and couldn’t get even a decent opening.

The actor took it sportively and joked about it as well. Now, he announced his Ram Setu movie release for Diwali this year. He will be seen as an archeologist in the film. Jacqueline Fernandez, Nusratt Baruccha and Telugu actor Satya Dev are part of the cast. Amazon Prime Video released the first look poster on social media along with Akshay Kumar. Film could stream on the OTT service post release or could directly stream. We don’t have a clarity on that aspect yet Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing the film.
