Business Tycoon Anand Mahindra now one of RBI Directors

Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group of Companies has been appointed as Director of Reserve Bank of India. He will serve of one of directors for 4 years on the central board.

Central Government appoints these directors to regulate Reserve Bank of India working style and the policies for a period of 4 years. Central Ministers committee has given green signal to the appointment of Anand Mahindra and along with him three more directors.

Ravindra Dholakia, Venu Srinivasan and Pankaj Patel have been appointed as RBI directors along with Anand Mahindra. This move might bring positive response from the markets as the Sensex further dipped down by 153 points on Tuesday.
