BCCI will announce Test Captain, then only

After the South Africa Test series loss, Virat Kohli stepped down as team Indian Test Captain. Since then, there have been a lot of speculations over his successor. A few Indian Legends brought other names apart from Rohit Sharma.

And it was confirmed that Rohit Sharma was the Test Captain for team India. BCCI will make an official announcement regarding this, by the end of this week, as quoted by Inside Sport. BCCI will also announce the team for Tests and T20Is against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka is coming to India to play 3 T20Is and 2 Test matches. The series will start with T20Is from 24th February. In the two Tests, BCCI fixed a day and night match at Bengaluru, which was the second Test match. And the first test will be played at Mohali.
