AP CM YS Jagan and TDP President, ex-AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu have always been strong political rivals. They both are known for calling each other names and allege corruption on the other at every given occasion. Jagan at East Godavari district Marumalla, talked about fishermen welfare and during the speech, called Nara Chandrababu Naidu as a liar, drama artist and sarcastically claimed that he is training his son, Nara Lokesh in the same art. He also said that the opposition is suffering with jealousy looking at the way his government is handling tough situations.
Jagan further stated that the YSRCP government is working for the welfare of the people of AP and Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his adopted son (Pawan Kalyan) are unable to digest it. He remarked that government is depositing Rs.109 crores into the accounts of fishermen to help them and proudly stated that no other government in the country is doing so. He also stated that Rs. 11,500 will be deposited into the accounts of fishermen who will lose their houses to ONGC pipeline construction in 68 villages, for four months.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh did not mince his words while calling Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh as puppets of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and said that after losing in 2019 elections they are unable to grasp the reasons for their failure, had they did so, they will stay away from the opposition leader.
Jagan claimed that the government has delivered on promises and upto 95% of the schemes proposed in the manifesto have been introduced for the welfare of the citizens of AP. Hence, he said that with pride ministers and MLAs are going to meet people directly and ask them for votes without any hesitation.
