AP CM Jagan requests Special Status for the State

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 125 year birth anniversary celebrations of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Seetha Ramaraju. Narendra Modi after his visit to Telangana, went to AP for this event. Megastar Chiranjeevi became a special attraction at the event and the actor, ex-politician honored PM with a shawl.

Jagan on this occasion requested PM to grant the funds and accept the revised order to build Polavaram Dam. He asked PM to grant Special Status for the state as it lost a lot of funds post division to Telangana.

He further asked Modi to grant them Rs.34,125 crores funds under resource gap scheme. He also requested him fast track the process for clearance of Bhogapuram Airport and grant Iron ore mines for APMDC.

PM Narendra Modi took the requests submitted by CM Jagan and promised that he will look into each of the problems stated by him, at the earliest. Modi talked about how Alluri should be seen as an inspiration for generations to come.
