AP Athlete Jyothi breaks her own National Record

Athletics haven’t been strong suit of Indians as they have found themselves competing against far superiorly trained athletes from other nations. Slowly, Indian Sports Authorities started concentrating on identifying talents and training them to meet the International standards.

Andhra Pradesh Athlete, Jyothi Yarraji created National Record earlier this month and now, he broke her own record at Loughborough, United Kingdom in 100m Hurdles race to qualify for Common Wealth Games. She clocked 13.11 seconds beating her previous best 13.23 seconds that won her Gold in Cyprus International.

Sports Authority of India appreciated her efforts and she is determined to win a medal at Common Wealth Games for India. Hopefully, she achieves her long term dream to qualify to Olympics and even win a medal for India in Athletics. All the Best, Jyothi.
