Aamir Khan requests not to Boycott his film

Bollywood Star Hero, Aamir Khan has been working on his new film, Lal Singh Chaddha from last four years ever since his last film, Thugs of Hindostan release in 2018. After a great first weekend, movie failed to recover the costs. Aamir decided to adapt Forrest Gump, 1994 film starring Tom Hanks as he always wanted to act in the main character.

After 28 years, he is happy with the script and the film made of it. Naga Chaitanya Akkineni has made his Hindi debut with this film. Advait Chandan who made Secret Superstar directed this movie. Atul Kulkarni adapted the original Eric Roth screenplay in Hindi.

From few days, #BoycottLalSinghChaddha has been trending and the actor made a statement asking Hindi movie fans to not boycott his film. He said that he doesn’t want to make any political statements and people would enjoy his film.

He asked people to see politics and films, separately. On the other hand, main lead actress of the film, Kareena Kapoor said that she learnt from his life that she has to ignore certain things. As there are many social media platforms, she opined that she cannot stop from people having their own agendas and taking them seriously would hurt them.
